1.4.6 Contrast (Enhanced) – How to make your training material meet the success criteria

The examples discussed below will focus on using two popular training development tools (Articulate Storyline 2 and Camtasia Studio).

Content will focus on how you can meet the success criteria for each section of the WCAG 2.0 Guidelines.

Content Recommendation is for the following WCAG 2.0 Sections:

1.4.6 Contrast (Enhanced)

Questions to consider:

Does your text and images have a contrast ratio of 7:1?

Does your content use an (18 point) or (14 point bold) font which also has a contrast ratio of 4:5:1?

How Articulate Storyline 2 can meet success criteria:

• By ensuring text and images have a minimum contrast ratio of 7:1.
• By ensuring large text (over 18 point or 14 point bold) has a contrast ratio of at least 4.5:1
