TAG – Training Accessibility Guidelines (Question 34 & 35)

The examples discussed below will focus on using two popular training development tools (Articulate Storyline 2 and Camtasia Studio).

Content will focus on how you can meet the success criteria for each section of the WCAG 2.0 Guidelines.

Content Recommendation is for the following WCAG 2.0 Sections:

2.4.3 Focus Order
2.4.7 Focus Visible

Questions to consider:

Does your content have a logical and intuitive order?
Does your content have a visually apparent hint that a new educational object has been selected?

How Articulate Storyline 2 can meet success criteria:

  • By updating the tabbing order if required to have a more logical and intuitive order.  All educational objects must have (Object is visible to accessibility tools – enabled).
  • By default Articulate Storyline 2 highlights each educational object when the tab key is pressed.
