TAG – Training Accessibility Guidelines (Question 36)
The examples discussed below will focus on using two popular training development tools (Articulate Storyline 2 and Camtasia Studio).
Content will focus on how you can meet the success criteria for each section of the WCAG 2.0 Guidelines.
Content Recommendation is for the following WCAG 2.0 Sections:
2.4.4 Link Purpose (In Context)
2.4.9 Link Purpose (Link Only)
Questions to consider:
Can you clearly identify the purpose of a link from the text description of the link? |
How Articulate Storyline 2 can meet success criteria:
- By ensuring all links are clearly described.
- By ensuring all links are uniquely named. For example – no links on any screen have the exact same name or description.
- By including a unique descriptive ALT Tag for all images or button based links.
