TAG – Training Accessibility Guidelines (Question 44)

The examples discussed below will focus on using two popular training development tools (Articulate Storyline 2 and Camtasia Studio).

Content will focus on how you can meet the success criteria for each section of the WCAG 2.0 Guidelines.

Content Recommendation is for the following WCAG 2.0 Sections:

3.2.1 On Focus

Questions to consider:

Does your content change when you change the focus from one educational object to another?

How Articulate Storyline 2 can meet success criteria:

  • By ensuring when an object is selected that it does not change its meaning.  Each object should have its own unique meeting and not change when in focus, such as when you tab to a new educational object.
  • By ensuring when you switch focus from one educational object to another that it does not create an additional change.  For example spawning a popup window.
